Abington Township is one of Montgomery County’s oldest communities and the second most populated with more than 55,000 residents. It contains some of the county’s oldest transportation routes, industries and churches.

Abington is one of the most desired residential areas given its proximity to a large shopping center and the fact that some of the largest employers in Montgomery County, including Abington Memorial Hospital and Holy Redeemer Health System, call the township home.

Abington also features community parks, nature areas, public playgrounds, athletic fields, tennis courts, and swimming pools.

Other communities located in Abington Township include Willow Grove, Roslyn, Glenside, Rydal, North Hills, and Meadowbrook. Abington is easily accessible to Philadelphia via SEPTA’s Warminster Line.
